เทศกาลหนังเมืองคานส์ดำเนินมาครึ่งทางแล้ว (งานจะจบวันที่ 24 พ.ค.) หนังที่อื้อฉาวและมีคนพูดถึงมากที่สุดก็หนีไม่พ้น Antichrist ของผู้กำกับเดนมาร์ค ลาร์ส ฟอน ทริเยร์ (Breaking the Waves ,  Dancer in the Dark ,  Dogville)
Antichrist เล่าถึงคู่สามีภรรยา (วิลเลม เดโฟ + ชาร์ล็อต แกงส์บูร์ก) ที่เพิ่งสูญเสียลูกน้อยไป (ที่แรงคือลูกตายตอนที่ทั้งสองกำลังมีเซ็กซ์กัน!) ทั้งคู่เลยหนีไปพักใจในบ้านกลา่งป่าที่ชื่อ  อีเดน  แต่แล้วฝ่ายหญิงก็เริ่มได้ยิน + เห็นสิ่งประหลาด และเธอก็เริ่มเป็นบ้าในที่สุด
ว่ากันว่าหนังรุนแรงมาก หลายฉากในหนังทำให้บางคนทนไม่ไหวจนต้องเบือนหน้าหนี (ข่าวลือมาแรงก็คือ มีฉากที่เดโฟทำลาย  ไอ้นั่น  ของเขาอย่างรุนแรง!) แน่นอนหนังแรงขนาดนี้ตอนฉายจบก็ต้องถูกโห่ไล่เป็นธรรมดา
นักวิจารณ์บางคนถึงกับบอกว่า "นี่เป็นหนังที่แรงที่สุดในรอบหลายปีนับจาก Irreversible ของกัสแปร์ โน" (ซึ่งเจ้าตัวก็มีหนังเรื่อง Enter the Void ฉายปีนี้ด้วย)
ทางด้าน ฟอน ทริเยร์ ก็ยังบ้าบอคอแตกตามประสาเช่นเคย อย่างตอนที่แถลงข่าวเขาก็พูดว่า "พระเจ้าอาจจะไม่ใช่สิ่งที่ดีที่สุด แต่ผมเ็ป็นผู้กำกับหนังที่ดีที่สุดในโลก" (ข่าวจาก http://www.thaicinema.org/cannes2009_journal2.asp )
แกยังพูดต่อด้วยว่า "ผมไม่ได้ทำหนังเพื่อคุณหรือคนดูหน้าไหน ผมทำหนังเพื่อตัวผมเอง ดังนั้นผมไม่คิดว่าจะต้องมาอธิบายอะไรให้ใครฟัง" และซ้ำต่อว่า "ผมไม่เชื่อในการทำหนังเพื่อคนดู นั่นคือเรื่องหายนะชัดๆ"
ก็ต้องติดตามกันต่อไปว่า Antichrist จะได้รางวัลอะไรจากกรรมการมั้ย และสามวันต่อจากนี้คานส์ก็เต็มไปด้วยหนังแรงๆ ทั้งสิ้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Inglorious Basterds (เควนติน ทารันติโน่) ,  The White Ribbon (ไมเคิล ฮานาเก้) ,   Enter the Void และ The Time That Remains (อีไล สุไลมาน)

Plot Outline:

. A couple lose their young son when he falls out the window while they have sex in the other room. The mother s grief consigns her to hospital ,  but her therapist husband brings her home intent on treating her depression himself. To confront her fears they go to stay at their remote cabin in the woods ,  "Eden" ,  where something untold happened the previous summer. Told in four chapters with a prologue and epilogue ,  the film details acts of lustful cruelty as the man and woman unfold the darker side of nature outside and within.
